Hi Adrian
mule-packages and site-packages are detected and added to the
load-path just fine for me. Please send along the debug info I
requested. You don't happen to have either EMACSLOADPATH or
EMACSPACKAGEPATH set, either in the environment or the registry, do
you?
Hi Vin, I just checked the whole registry.
I don't have EMACSLOADPATH or EMACSPACKAGEPATH in there.
No other suspicious entries containing emacs either (just a couple of
entries for winclient.exe, xemacs.exe, etc.)
BUT, I have not run make install to get this XEmacs under
%ProgramFiles%\XEmacs.
I'm running it in-place, or out-of-place wrt to my package tree!
I bet, that's what my problem is!
testing ...
Sure, enough, that was it!
I have run make install and that XEmacs finds its packages just fine!
Best regards,
Adrian
Asking lusers for value of late-package-hierarchies should be
valuable.
Run-in-place gives:
`late-package-hierarchies' (buffer: *Hyper Apropos*, mode: Hyper-Apropos)
Variable:
value: ("c:\\Hacking\\cvs.xemacs.org\\XEmacs\\xemacs-packages\\")
Package hierarchies late in the load path.
Installed under c:\\progra~1\\xemacs gives:
