The M-$ ispell verification is very pretty in my gnuemacs.
Can I do the same with xemacs ?
In my .emacs I only put (setq ispell-dictionary "francais")
and ispell works out of the box.
How can I learn ispell to beta-xemacs ?

in XEmacs, most add-ons (ispell, gnus, etc etc) are managed via a
XEmacs' specific package system
note: gnuserv-start is _fundamental_ --- look at the gnuserv(1) man
page and at the editclient.sh script that is placed into the etc
directory in the directory where you built xemacs
