X-symbol-mode crashes xemacs-21.4.21-mule

Dear Sirs Whenever I try to load x-symbol-mode in xemacs-21.4.21-mule xemacs crashes. However if I use xemacs-21.4.21-nomule it works fine. The M-x describe-installation is in attachment. No core file was created at the current directory, nor at the home directory. The "screen dump" is included in the body of the message. The computer I am using is a dual core ADM-64 with Kubuntu (64 bits).
