Yes, please. I don't think I have access to a Solaris 9 system, but
maybe I can get it. And definitely there are folks around who do.

Great! I'd love to see this code in the hands of people who are willing
to help.
One thing to watch for. The code dictates that Option is used in the Apple
way to compose characters or whatever that's called. But, that should
be configurable. Many single-lingual English speakers (like myself)
would most likely want Option
to be Meta rather than Command being Meta. When Command is Meta you
lose the ability to global-set-key all of the Appleisms that our fingers
have "memorized" such as Cut/Copy/Paste/Quit/Print/etc. This was
configurable in
Carbon Emacs, but is not in Carbon XEmacs.
