You should at least use XEmacs and viper if you insist on the vi
look & feel. :-)
Do we have an XEmacs built on the server?
ftp.xemacs.org does not
have XEmacs installed[1] as far as I am aware.
But you probably right if you argue that XEmacs would help if
somebody
(which is me in that case) is not able to save the right buffer and
put it in place.
