Uh, he did, by moving it to the Internals manual and by a stroke of

Adrian, you know the technology better than anyone else at this point,
and maybe have some ideas about the technology you want to work with.
Why don't you write up and post a call for volunteers, here and on
c.e.x? There are always people who want to help but "don't know C" or
whatever.
Also, decide what you want to do, and if somebody plausible (you know,
the always helpful always around types like say Kilian Foth) says
they'll take one of your less-preferred tasks completely off your
hands, but only if they get to choose the technology, let's think
about giving it to them!
