This would mean add dynamic loading of the graphic libraries (or at
least PNG), with all the ld magic needed to avoid linking problems.
This may have worked if we have started doing (and debugging) such a
thing, oh, 4 months ago ? I'm afraid it's too late now.
BTW, this will[1] be irrelevant in 21.1.
