On Solaris the X11 lives in
/usr/openwin/[include|lib|...]
and for Solaris8 this would be X11R6 I believe.
For some reason, our admins have a bunch of symlinks in /opt/X11R5/lib
pointing to stuff in /usr/openwin/...
