Patches welcome. Make sure it supports
command.com, cmd.exe, 4dos,
4nt, POSIX sh, Bourne-again shell, ksh, csh, tcsh with i81n, zsh,
scsh, .... If you really want this to work, you need to do a lot of
icky hacking.
But guess what? Every single one of those accepts `cd' to change
working directory. Some of them support the pushd/popd extension.
A better idea would be to enhance eshell to workalike your favorite
shell.
