mv newdir somedir
cvs add somedir
cvs commit somedir
that is what thought, thanks for confirming.
As long as you don't need to keep the file history (and for the
files that are just taken from upstream, I think it would be
somewhat pointless), this is dead easy. However, you would
likely want to keep the history of those files particular to the
XEmacs package system.
I am not sure what you are referring to. Do you mean by history the
Changelog files?
Anyhow I wait for the approve of the patches and will then commit.
