compile is busted

OK, I'll rephrase my earlier question as a bug report: Let's say I've run a compile already, and want to do it again via the popup menu. However, the current buffer is different from the *compilation* buffer. The new compilation assumes the default-directory of the current buffer, which is bad juju---especially if I'm doing a recompile which should do exactly the same thing as the last time around. This is really annoying. To solve this (I've done most of the work), I need to figure out what buffer the popup selection was started from. If this is not possible, I'll have to write new event handling for compile.el (and you don't want me to do that, right ...?) -- Cheers =8-} Chipsy Friede, Völkerverständigung und überhaupt blabla
