OK, but this leads me to a general question: shouldn't docs written by
native English speakers?

It could be. But 3rd party packages should go into:
$prefix/lib/xemacs/site-packages/
Ups well, if you have root access. However on your own Linux/BSD
whatsoever PC this is obvious but I guess there are guys out, on say
Solaris workstations. So they can't install there (yes I know they
cannot upgrade the packages neither)
I thought that is what .xemacs is for?
