Well it doesn't and wouldn't I get into lots and lots of other
problems then. I mean there are other mule packages. I have had this
configuration for quite some time and built without mule successfully.

Yes <blush> I know of those little bastards. So I'm right assuming the
file shouldn't be touched, compiled, when building without mule? If
that is the case then I will look into it.
