We cannot debug crashes without a backtrace with debug symbols. I'm
sure Red Hat strips the binary, so you should build XEmacs (current is
21.4.14) yourself before following up. Use the default flags; they
have optimization and debugging symbols. Of course, you could always
build with the Athena libraries (Xaw3d is preferred), and have an
excellent chance of avoiding further pain.
We also need to know which flavor of Mo'grief you are using (OpenMotif
or LessTif), and the library versions.
