This will happen soon, I think.
The two things that need to be done are (1) to make sure that the
code
covered is all under the "GPLv2 or later" language, and (2) to confer
with the SXEmacs guys since they share our package distribution. (1)
has been done already, I think, by Mats Lidell, but needs to be
verified, and (2) won't take long.
Less time than you think... :-)
