Which is _exactly_ what I said, is it not? I don't have time to read
the perl script to determine what "tries to figure out" means. Not to
mention that semantics are likely to change at any moment, and be
unreliable, based on my experience with other Debian "smarter than
thou" wrappers.
Sure, mostly they work well for most people. That's not good enough
for maintainers working on "stable" XEmacs versions.
