No I'm not. I'm working in the XEmacs 21.5.24 release. Isn't it supposed
to work there?
Yes. Looks like that combination was under-tested. I don’t have a
development environment to give you an actual patch, but wrapping the
lwlib-fonts.h #include statement in
#define USE_XFT
[...]
#undef USE_XFT
should address the problem for the moment.
