It may be fixed simply by upgrading. We always want a full report; sometimes fixes are platform-specific, so even if it has been fixed in recent releases, we may need to adapt it to new platforms, etc, based on your report. Please make sure you have a fresh net-utils package (current is >= 1.28, I think), and use M-x report-emacs-bug.
