Huh? "No file on this line"? What does "save-buffer" know about
lines? Are you doing this in a Dired buffer?
Please check that C-x C-s is actually running "save-buffer" with C-h k
C-x C-s the next time this happens, in the buffer where the command
fails. Are you running latin-unity? (That shouldn't have anything to
do with this message either, but let's start by blaming me. ;-) Do you
have any Dired buffers? (that seems the most likely source of a
message about "file on the line")
