That was my main point. I have zero interest in source that I cannot
hack on and share my changes with others. I also have zero interest
in forking XEmacs as he has apparently done. Sigh.
I’ve updated his patch to work with current CVS; shout if you’d like a copy.
It crashes regularly in the scrollbar code, but it’s not trivially clear to
me what’s wrong, so I’ve yet to fix that.
(One thing that annoys me about it is that he ignored multi-headedness;
gnuclient doesn’t let you create a tty or X11 frame if a carbon one has been
already created. But that shouldn’t be an issue for most people.)
