That is actually an problem in the file /usr/lib/ispell/ispell-emacs-menu.el in the SuSE ispell package. I already fixed this: * Thu Jun 02 2005 - mfabian(a)suse.de - fix ispell-emacs-menu.el for XEmacs 21.5.20 and xemacs-packages-20050505 (coding system iso-8859-14 may not exist without requiring 'latin-euro-latin8). ispell-emacs-menu.el had assumed that the coding system iso-8859-14 always exists in XEmacs. But with newer versions of XEmacs and the sumo packages it exists only when latin-euro-latin8 has been loaded.
