Its correct for GUI applications. Ben wants it to be configurable which I
think is correct (i.e. have a focusable property on the glyph). To not do
it by default would hose dialog boxes - we just have this strange
possibility of having buffer and widgets mixed. Also obviously edit fields

How can you tell whether its useful or not. Under mswindows you can then
hit tab on the search dialog to move between buttons. Its has to be
configurable, I don't think its possible to guess what the user wants
