xemacs packages CVS tree tagged checkout fubared

You need to let world write to val-tags, I think: amaterasu 1078 /usr/packages/xemacs% echo $CVSROOT :pserver:cvs＠cvs.xemacs.org:/pack/xemacscvs amaterasu 1080 /usr/packages/xemacs% cvs -z5 update -dP -r sumo-2001-12-11 packages cvs [server aborted]: cannot write /pack/xemacscvs/CVSROOT/val-tags: Permission denied --- and, also, the sumo tags are sticky (at least sumo-2001-09-29 is), which is probably wrong for dated tags like the sumo tags are. I spent several seconds in confusion when I did a checkout from the new cvs.xemacs.org and found nothing had changed in over a month! :) -- `The situation is completely under control.
