Not really. From the user point of view, most XEmacs users use

I only ever use Quail for the occasional accented character in

I use it extensively and it is extremely practical when I occassionally
want to type more or less exotic languages in an en-US environment.
I wish I could extend Xinput with quail.. has anyone done that btw?
