GNU DLD is a dynamic link library. It is not maintained (the last
release was in 1996), it's crufty (see the complaints about it in
sysdll.c), nobody is using it for module support (see
http://list-archive.xemacs.org/xemacs-patches/200307/msg00103.html for
evidence), and I don't know how to maintain it since I don't have any
systems with DLD, nor do I know anybody with such a system.
I would like to deprecate GNU DLD for the next release of 21.5 and
consider removing support for it entirely in 21.6 or 22.0, whichever
comes next. Are there any objections?
