Help > welcome! sendmail < mail-with-all-user-headers xemacs-patches(a)xemacs.org doesn't work? IIRC sendmail-compatible MTAs will provide Date and Message-ID fields if you don't, as they are required by RFC 5322 (and all predecessors). So you need From, To, Subject, X-XEmacs-Changeset, and a blank line. Anything else?
