Thanks for making that change!
I think that single act will do wonders for most users. If they bother to read the
instructions, which they would have if they are downloading sumo, then now they can
install it to the proper place and it will work. Hurrah!

I've made the changes (actually, four places needed to be changed).
If you want to work on the website, you need an account on alioth. Go
to http://*alioth.debian.org/ to request one. If you are not a Debian
maintainer, your requested account name will automatically have
"guest" appended to it. You may or may not want to take that into
account (eg, I'm "unwelcome-guest").
Once you've done that, send xemacs-services(a)xemacs.org your account
name, say you want website update privileges, and we'll set up
privileges for you.
