Yup. I'm learning diff-mode, and for some reason that particular part
of the patch failed to apply both with "patch" and then with diff-mode
commands. I know how to recognize patch(1) failures, but evidently I
missed this in the manual application.
I don't understand how I missed this in testing ... oh well.
Fixed, committed.
I've picked up the new version and it works fine.
