XEmacs function-menu vs. nested functions

Create a file x.py with the following contents:

#!/usr/bin/env python

def x():
    def xx():
	pass

Now load this into XEmacs and do M-x function-menu RET

Apparently func-menu.el can't deal with this (legal) Python
construction.  I'll take a crack at fixing this, if nobody 
beats me to it.

I have Func-Menu v2.63 which I believe is the latest,
using it with XEmacs-21.1.9
