I don't understand that question. What rpm files do you have in your
directory? The xemacs*rpm files? You have already updated these, you
do not need to do that again. It is enough to update only the ispell
packages.

Dear Mike,
I had already come to the same conclusion. Thus, I applied rpm to the
ispell-files and then tested XEmacs.
It seems that not only the problem with the primary selection is solved,
but also the problem with the wrong geometry after starting.
So, it looks that I can work comfortably with XEmacs again. This is
certainly very good for me.
Since XEmacs is my principal editor, upgrading of Emacs is not my top
priority. Nevertheless, I could you tell me once more where I could find
appropriate .rpm files.
