To make it short: (incf users-wanting-toolbar-features)
I use emacs all day every day, but still think a context sensitive
*captioned* toolbar would be nice if more modes/applications
provided it. Especially when trying out a feature for the first
time because I need something done *now*.
I rarely use the tool bar by myself, it is just I feel this is
something the average users misses most.
It's funny that Uwe Brauer mentiones latex, given the trouble
David
Kastrup had with using a toolbar with preview-latex. Had he found
it easy I'm sure both preview-latex and AUCTex would make more use
the toolbar, and most likely other modes as well. I know I started
yeah I remember
this, but first David is not a Xemacs user himself and
then the intention of my question was not only: is it possible now, but
it is worth to implement something like this in the future? Ben's todo
list at least let the possibility open.
