You'll have to provide that patch. Nobody currently active in
development seems to think it is particularly desirable. A variant
(an xemacs that can be started without a window, with all windows
created by gnuclient) is a FAQ, with similar lack of interest from the
developers.
Ok, thanks for the info. If any developer has the time to tell me, I wouldn't
mind hearing why he/she doesn't think this is desirable.
