If I misrepresented your position, I'm sorry.
You can hardly misrepresent what does not exist. I am not involved
with designing the package layout of XEmacs and have no position in
the development choices of XEmacs. We just want to provide XEmacs
users with AUCTeX.
Our installation scripts and procedures are flexible enough to be able
to track XEmacs package layout policies reasonably painfree, so we
don't need a position in that regard. I _do_ have a position about
the XEmacs package distribution policies, but expressing it adequately
would require more characters of syntax category `_ which means:
symbol' than just `*', `-' and `/'.
