The two items were meant as an overview of the differences, not as
specific issues that needed fixing. I'm not convinced that many
people customized savehist variables.
Would you be willing to provide a patch including XEmacs ChangeLog
to expedite the review process?
That was never required for other files I maintain, such as `htmlize'.
I don't have a ChangeLog entry, unfortunately.
