build problem with etc/emacs.po

i build under LANG=zh_CN.GB2312 while making emacs.mo, it errors to stop, then i have to do: $ perl -pi -e 's|_X\"|\"|' etc/emacs.po then re-make, ... please enlighten me, ;) that is xemacs-21.2 cvs newest version (not more than two days older) thanks,
