I would like to at least determine what is causing the slowdown. I see
the tab and interactive slowdown for large java files which indicates
that its not (3) I always had put this down to JDE's use of semantic
but if its faster in 21.1 I would like to get to the bottom of it.
it's not JDE since i'm using plain stupid java mode. also note that yes,
loading that file takes quite some time also, but it's really editing
that bothers me.
