Plus, I reran 'make config' and I added #undef DOCDIR_USER_DEFINED to
src/config.h.in. Olivier and Michael, please check the change I make
to src/config.h.in.
Marcus, if you want me to update config.guess, please send me a
working patch against 21.1.

I hope to cut a 21.1.4 release tomorrow night. (If I don't do it
tomorrow night, it won't be for another week or so, 'cause I'll be out
of town.) If there's anything *you* want to see in 21.1.4 - now's the
time to speak up.
