Very unlikely. AFAICS, nxml-mode requires that we completely change
our font-lock facility.

I'd like to have it, but I can't afford to give it the necessary
time. I'd put replacing the font-lock facility higher in my personal
priority list, anyway.
So, it is to say the font-lock facility will be changed in the future
and then, at that time, nxml-mode's font-lock mechanism will work
without any modification?
I'd be happy to give advice to anybody interested in doing either,
and of course will review all patches submitted to xemacs-patches.
In fact, I did tring to make it work/run in XEmacs, but I am in a very
beginning stage. I just want to make all the el files bytecompiled by
XEmacs, but for me, it is not very easy. I've changed some
make-coding-system invoking code, but not gone any further yet.
