The Install Wizard for XEmacs doesn't set the execute path in the
generated desktop-icon.
I propose to undertake this entry.
Thank you for posting, unfortunately, I don't understand your message at all:
1) I'm not sure what 'Install Wizard for XEmacs' you're talking about.
We've used several over the years. The most recent version of the
only native Windows setup kit under active development can be found
here:
ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/xemacs/windows/testing/XEmacs%20Setup%2021.4.19-...
2) I don't know what you mean by "doesn't set the execute path in the
generated desktop-icon". The kit I referred to does, in fact, set the
full path in the Target field of the shortcut. Is that what you're
referring to?
I would recommend that you install the above-mentioned kit and see if
it addresses your concerns. If it doesn't, please file a bug report
via M-x report-emacs-bug , so we can learn the necessary details of
your configuration.
