In search for a GOOD package-get-base.el

Hello All, I have taken SOME effort to followup on the exchanges about bad package-get-base.el I found the one Steven mailed in Even in that one the MD5SUMs are incorrect for at least ispell, gnus, text-modes, ... Is there a canonical place yet where to get good versions of package-get-base.el? For now I would very much appreciate if someone could mail me her/his working copy.
