There needs to be some introduction about how Lisp libraries work (ie, they get loaded and executed), are initialized (auto-autoloads and company), and are distributed (packaging) up front, IMO. I think anybody already mentioned in the Copyright notice should have their dates updated. Anybody not mentioned but in the ChangeLog(!) should get a "should be considered a Copyright holder until otherwise stated." (Feel free to say "pass" on the work, I'm just saying what I think should be done. Do add a ＠c FIXME copyright needs updated.) I've signed assign.future; all my work is assigned to the FSF. So the FSF should get at least 2001, 2002 appended. I don't recall when I added the CCL docs; that might very well have been 2000. The other package stuff is heavily edited (at least) by Steve Youngs and Michael Sperber (IIRC the README the original node was taken from was by MS). The parts about startup paths are Michael Sperber. Ben, Martin Buchholz, and Steve Baur (FSF assigned) can be assumed to have contributed heavily over the entire period since 1995. Adrian has done a lot of typo fixing and stuff, but you'd have to ask him if he considers himself an author.
