If that doesn't work with your non-mule version, it's a bug. No-mule
XEmacsen are supposed to ignore mule-packages hierarchies.
BTW, do _not_ install mule-ucs if you are going to build ben-mule
--with-mule. You'll get errors from the duplicated coding systems.
