p4.el is somewhat antisocial like this in a number of areas. I'll post
my pet peeves when I've had a chance to upgrade to the latest and
greatest.
I updated p4.el a few minutes ago and the new code doesn't mess with
the global keymap anymore. If you know of other bad things p4.el is
doing, please let me know.
