Just been thinking about this.
A nice solution to distributing XEmacs packages that need some kind of
helper app (eg Eicq) would be:
- The helper app gets distributed in source form only.
- On first invocation of the package some clever lisp would
configure/compile the app and install it into lib-src.
Sound like a fun hack?
