Hi Joachim, just do somthing like this:
$ make > ./beta.err 2>&1
$ make check > ./xemacs-make-check.err 2>&1
...and you should have a working XEmacs.
[5] After you have verified that you have a functional editor, fire up
your favorite mail program and send a build report to
<xemacs-buildreports(a)xemacs.org>.
Preferably this is best done from XEmacs, following these simple steps:
M-x customize-group RET build-report RET
M-x build-report RET
build-report doesn't really care; it just concatenates all the logs
you give it.
M-x describe-beta
should contain something similar to the above about build-reports if
it would not do this in 21.5-b23:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "Info file beta does not exist")
signal(error ("Info file beta does not exist"))
cerror("Info file %s does not exist" "beta")
apply(cerror "Info file %s does not exist" "beta")
error("Info file %s does not exist" "beta")
Info-find-node("beta" "Top" nil nil)
Info-goto-node("(beta)Top")
info("(beta)Top")
#<compiled-function nil "...(14)" [G35640 current-window-configuration
(...) info "(beta)Top" switch-to-buffer "*info*"] 2 1081188 nil>()
call-interactively(describe-beta)
command-execute(describe-beta t)
execute-extended-command(nil)
call-interactively(execute-extended-command)
