Look, there's a package (CEDET) whose author (and pretty much only
active developer) recently declared that he will focus on merging his
code into Emacs (

Clearly, writing code to support features only available in XEmacs is
not on his TODO list.
As far as I am concerned, I am just a user who is trying to get CEDET
to work on his XEmacs. When I have the time I'll come up with
something.
