Do it his way. I don't agree. It's a (small) strategic mistake, he
will probably regret it. But the bottom line is that just as I argue
it's not going to hurt anything because it really isn't going to
affect anything else, the same facts mean it will be easy to reverse.
In the meantime, it will be a little extra work for you, though,
preparing READMEs for X and Windows (I hope) and fielding support
requests for builds.
What's the story on the tree-windows? Is that what I guess it is, a
native implementation of xoobr for MS?
