We try to clean up automounter brain damage automatically, but in your
case it looks like we are breaking things instead. I'm not exactly sure
how to fix it yet, but I'll look at the automounter code and see if I
can come up with a solution. Unless another XEmacs developer already
knows how to deal with this ... ?
I do not know about directory-abbrev-alist. Could you tell me how to
change
it?
I'm not sure it needs to be changed. Can you type C-h C-v
directory-abbrev-alist and see what its value is?
