shadowing of unicode.el, mule-ucs vs. core

Hi, XEmacs 21.5.24 MULE, on Linux. Packages are updated a few days before. Today I wanted to checked my shadowed lisp files. There I noticed /opt/xemacs/lib/xemacs/mule-packages/lisp/mule-ucs/unicode hides /opt/xemacs/lib/xemacs-21.5-b24/lisp/unicode Is this intended? All other shadows from *-packages/lisp/ to xemacs-21.5-b24/lisp/ are effectively the same .el package, but unicode.el is different. Ain't I read somewhere that mule-ucs is irrelevant for 21.5.24 anyhow? Joachim PS: Is it normal that bug reports don't appear at xemacs-beta, two days after I've sent them?
