Report confirmed. 21.1.2 has the same problem. The info.el code
hasn't changed since 20.4. The line it is bombing on was bogus even
in 20.4, even though it doesn't bomb there:
(message "Hit %s again to go to previous node"
==> (if (= last-command-char 0)
"mouse button"
(key-description (char-to-string last-command-char))))
Yoshiki Hayashi <g740685(a)komaba.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp> writes in
xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org:
(emacs-version)
"XEmacs 21.2 \"Dionysos\" [Lucid] (i586-pc-linux, Mule) of Sat May 22 1999
on quarter"
Run XEmacs with
xemacs -vanilla
and enter Info-mode and press DEL or BS.
Then XEmacs says,
Wrong type argument: number-char-or-marker-p, nil
I don't know why, but last-command-char returns nil here.
